My roommate is kinda bad at math, but loves to play 40k so I typically write up lists for him.. I wanted him to try a Noise Marine list instead of a Nurgle list for a change since he usually doesn't do a whole lot of attacking for the first few turns outside of a few plink shots with some helbrutes. He's finally coming around to proxying, which allows me to write him more balanced lists. Here's what he has in the way of models, after that I'll show you guys the list I made.
3 DV Chaos lords (Counts as Lords or Sorcerers)
3 Helbrutes
Abaddon (counts as terminator or oblit)
1 Heldrake
20 DV Chosen (Counts as PA)
3 Terminators (Usually Oblits)
40 Cultists (Counts as whatever needs to fill space)
Here's what I made for him
HQ:
Chaos Lord
-Mark of Slaanesh
-Gift of Mutation
-Sigil of Corruption
Sorcerer
-Mark of Slaanesh
- +2 Mastery Levels
-Gift of Mutation
-Aura of Dark Glory
Troops x2
10x Noise Marines
-Gift of Mutation
-8x Sonic Blasters
-Doom Siren
-BlastMaster
-Icon of Excess
Elites:
2x Helbrute
-Twin Linked Lascannon
Fast Attack:
Heldrake
-Baleflamer
Heavy Support:
3x Obliterators
-Mark of Nurgle (for resiliency)
-Veterans of the Long War
I play space wolves, so I think this list would be some fun for him to use, considering he'll shoot me off the board before I can assault him.
Any advice on other things to proxy instead, or how to use this army would be great!
