Orks and cheese cannot be in the same sentence right now. They are currently hard up for a new update and there are only a few builds that keep them going.
Mek can't 'fix' the lascannon as it cannot fix wounds. Only Immobilized vehicles and weapon destroyed results on vehicles. Your Mek needs to be in the BW for the 5+ cover save bubble. It is it's only purpose.

I'm not seeing anything that strikes me as cheesy. Its pretty much impossible to do cheese with Orks.

Yeah my big mek is in the battlewagon. Think the space wolf player called it cheese because of the 2 adl giving my lootas a 3+ cover save. I honestly didn't think a mek could fix it but was just hopeful cause of the wording "weapon destroyed"

It's not cheesy.

It is however illegal.

You can't have two fortifications and you can't have four elites.

And why would two aegis lines give you a 3+ cover save?

I guess I should of added this is a 2000 pt list. And at 2000 pt the double force organization chart comes into play doubling each choice. Example up to 4 hq's 12 troops 6 fast 6 elite and a additional fortification. Fortification's give a 3+ cover save as per the rulebook. 2+ if they go to ground

Your army would still be illegal because you have to have 2 HQ and 4 troops when you use the dual force organization.

On topic of cheesy, I dont believe so, I run a similar 1850 list and have never had any complaints.

ADL gives 4+ cover and 2+ GTG as per rule book. List is illegal as stated above. Cheesy no, illegal yes.

As noted by Shamanlord and skycapt, it's still an illegal list. You need another HQ and two more Troops.

That it's a 2k list is really surprising, though. By looking at it I thought it would be somewhere around 1500.

It's far from a cheesy list, even with the illegal choices, and I'd go so far as to say it's a pretty bad list. I can't imagine what the IG and SW players are fielding that wouldn't steamroll you.

Well damn I completely over looked that. So any suggestions to make this legal?
