Hi everyone ! So I've seen some BT lists around this forum, and I can't help but thinking that most people are falling in the old trap of thinking that because BT crusader squads can have acces to neophytes and BP/CS, everyone must load them up full with that. But don't misunderstand me ! I ain't saying neophytes and chainswords aren't cool and good. All I am saying is that all squads don't necessarely have to be a copy of this form. After all, if there are advantages to using a crusader squads rather than tactical squads, it is these:

1-Can be either melee or ranged oriented, or even a mix of both.
2-Can use neophytes to thoughen up the squad but without increasing the cost to much.
3- Five-man squads can have a special and a heavy weapon, or even a power weapon/fist with a special ranged weapon.
4-Can use a Land Raider Crusader !!!
5-Have all these options, but still count as a scoring unit.

So BT crusader squads are kind of a swiss-knife in my humble opinion, bringing the jack of all trades caracteristic of Vanilla Marines even further. So, keeping this in mind, here's a fun-list made using the strikeforce plus some extra-stuff

Captain : Artificier Armour, Teeth of Terra, Melta bombs
Total: 150

Command Squad: Plasma Gun x3, Grav Gun x2
Razorback : Twin-Linked Lascannon
Total: 250

Crusader Squad (Initiate x10) : Sword Brother, Power Weapon, melta bombs, Multi-melta, meltagun
Rhino
Total: 225

Crusader Squad (Initiate x10): Sword Brother, Power Weapon, melta bombs, Plasma Cannon, meltagun
Rhino
Total: 230

Crusader Squad (initiate x5) : Sword Brother, Power Weapon, Plasma Cannon, plasma gun
Drop Pod
Total: 160

Crusader Squad (initiate x5) : Sword Brother, Power Weapon, Heavy Bolter, plasma gun
Drop Pod
Total: 155

Dreadnought : Venerable
Drop Pod
Total: 160

Devastator Squad : Missile Launcher +Flakk x4

What is your opinion on this list ?

I like it, the only thing I have to say is that, I don't like Plas Cannons, especially coming out of Pods - Feasible.

The Riptide can't be a giant death robot, its completely lacking a sword or massive chainsaw. All giant death robots have swords or massive chainsaws.
