I don't particularly love the way Zzap guns work. Especially on battlewagons. (Not hitting much with something that might not even be able to pen isn't really worth 15 pts, imo) So what if there was a Zzap kannon that was mutually exclusive with the killkannon but looked like this:

36" S4 AP2 Ordinance 1, Blast, Haywire, Zzap (whenever a Zzap weapon scores a glancing or penetrating hit on a vehicle, it automatically applies a crew shaken result in addition to any other effects)

I'm not sure if Haywire and Zzap are too parasitic (I guess its all a matter of how much the thing costs, really) but I sure feel a LOT better about Zzap weapons using blast markers to help reduce misses, even if they cost 50+ pts. What do you think?

neat Idea, how about this. S4+1d6 Ap2 Ordinange 1, blast, Zzap. That way the worst you roll is strength 5 and the best you roll is strength 10. Its still orky and random, and consistent enough/doesn't miss to make it worth while. I would say, its cost should be 25pts. Maybe add gets hot to reduce the cost by 5 pts.

Just make it auto-hit again IMO

Be a very interesting anti-flier weapon in that case
