For a grand total of 500 points!

General tactics so far have been scout/infiltrate the tacs to cover closeish to the enemy lines, and unleash hell with the missile launcher and grav-gun.

I'm not quite sure what to do with the assault squad though, wether I should combat squad them and pick off vehicles with the melta bombs like that, or just go balls to the walls 11 man group (with the captain), and rampage around that way.

So, yeah, accepting any and all criticism of the list, and also maybe some tactics help!

try to get 2 assault squads (5 man squads) (turn the grav guys into scoots for more points). 4 flamers = hurt. one grav gun and one ml will not unleash any kind of hell on something you will find in a 500 pt game. tacs hold objectives. And if you can find a way to get a str 7 or better melee weapon on the captain, more power to you.

Personally, I'd drop the JP off the Captain, drop the packs off the assault squad. Split the ASM into two five man squads with two flamers each riding in their own pod.

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

You want some fun nastiness with your assault marines at full 10 man strength? Throw in a chaplain with a jump pack. Not only do they get to reroll wounds on hammer of wrath attacks, but now they get to reroll missed hits. I'd ditch the Captain and the melta bomb and use the points to upgrade sarge to vet and give him a power fist in the Assault squad.
