Tweaked around my list, seeing if this is viable in 6th.
Trying to avoid tanks but any advice on how to take out fliers or FMC would be appreciated.

HQ:

Chappy w JP

Elites:

Sang Priest w JP

Troops:

8 Death Company w Jump Packs
1x Thunder Hammer, 1x PF

10xAssault Marines
2xMeltas, PW, Inferno Pistol

5 scouts w cloaks

Heavy:
Dread w 2xTL AC

Dread w 2xTL AC

6xDevs w Missiles

List comes to 1500 precicely.

Im assuming the new change to the Rage rule applies to DC and they no longer have to be worried about being knited around?

Im taking dreads and devs for tanks, MCs, and fliers.. which i hope will be somewhat efficient.. any suggestions?

btw if i was to DoA everything that can would that work with the new reserve rules?

i think chaplains are elite so thats wrong off the bat. And rage just give you +2 attacks on the charge.

Besides that dreads are a bit weak this edition and a decent amount of LOS terrain might be bad against you. Assault you can only have 50% in reserve not including what HAS to be put in reserve.

I love death company but i have much better luck putting them in a land raider then giving them jump packs.

I always take a stormraven. I find that they are great against other aircraft and the can pop other tanks pretty reliably.

Drop the infernus pistol on the sergeant. as with 2 meltas you wont need it. Also considering putting 2 flamers in the unit with the power fists and running the sang priest with them.

Blood angels are really hard to play this edition so be prepared to experiment. I would play a few games and see what the local meta is and tailor a little towards that. Assault armies are tough to play. ALso consider getting TH/SS termies for the bump up to 1850.

Thanks for the comment. Idk what to replace the dreads with. It would free up points for one landraider which i think would be, on its own, destroyed quite quick.

The storm talon could work, although the model sucks. i was thinking maybe a stormraven but idt BA gets those.

How do you think flamers fair on AM? that was my original intention for one squad but i thought i needed more meltas.

I was considering Sang guard for 1850 lol... flying termis... well see how they do

Defo a storm raven. Blood angels can take this, they can't take a talon. The raven is arguably one of the toughest fliers in the game! Well worth it's points!

As for dropping fliers, I'm not sure for BA. Maybe Baal preds with assault cannons?

^perfect advice from both. Absolutely no disageement. I would go further and say drop all your hs options all are sub-par in the current game imo, although some BA players do swear on missile devs.
2 stormravens if you can. IF that DC ever gets into combat it will rip face but you have little chance of this with no other equal threats in the list. If insistant on DC with JP (believe me I know your pain, I have 20 pro painted ones off ebay) you need something to take the heat off the DC, maybe a couple of vindis (slightly risky with assault armies) or flamestorm baals with hfs (normal baals last longer but wont distract enemy fire as much).
On the plus - 2 10man assault squads with priest and a camping scout squad is a very strong basis for the army.

I love them I have 3. Never done more than clip one of my own squads and kill a guy or two, at worst. But one day, due to the law of averages I will end up nuking half an assault squad or worse!

Haha! Seen that happen. You could build your own little ninja unit. 1 storm raven, 6 JP DC with said raven, and a DC dread in the back with a pair of blood talons!

Haha thats a regular showing for me (don't forget a pf). The other raven contains th/ss termis with librarian (for prescience on the dread) and a furioso with talons.
However I will only overload the ravens on a 3k+ game.

Hey mate !

Your 1,5k list is solid BUT I think it´s more 5ed. You´ve got a lot of meltas in it, maybe swap them for some Plasma.

also you might give your DC some bolters instead of 2CCW just to make them more flexibel.

This list looks pretty good with how you had it. I think the Storm Raven Ideas would do you better though. Run 2 of them. Also BAAL Preds would be good, i prefer the AC ones and move them 12" a turn.

Thanks man, I would take a flier its just that I dont own any.I like the Talon a lot tho I know BA dont get them. I mixed up the names before. Snipers on the scouts of course!

So I was messing around with some of your suggestions, and I have 2 Baal preds I could add in with ACs and a 3rd with Las if I drop the dreads and devs and some points here and there. They could then keep up with my marines and would provide similar fire power.

As for the meltas, I will trade one squad for flamers but i always seem to face MC-heavy lists. AM can only carry the pistols correct? Dont have my dex on me now.

BA have amazing Special characters, I recommened mephy or astorath. also I wouldn't put PF in an assault squad. also, BA get librarian dreadnaughts, the libby furiso is an amazing unit. blood lance + WoS is a 12 inch moving dreadnaught w/ a str 8 ap1 lance weapon scouts are not worth it in the BA use it for other things.

Yea they do and although their good I stay away because of point cost, at least for this point level.

Scouts for 75pts are great, they add a stationary capturing unit I need. I was thinking the librarian dreadnaught but for now I opted for more shooting but I changed it up to this for now:

HQ:

Recc. Chaplain with Jump Pack

Elites:

Priest w JP

Troops

10man AM w 2xflamers, PW, Melta Bomb, Hand Flamer

10man AM w 2xmelta, PF

8 Death Company, 1 Hammer (or 7 with additional PF)

5 Scout snipers

Fast:

2 BAAL preds with heavy bolters

Heavy:

1 Lascannon pred (TL and Sponson las)
