Well to start off with you dont have a defense line so you HWS's are going to die really fast, I dont see those lascannons lasting very long.
The MoO is in a chimera. The chimera should be moving around so that the plasma gun guys get their best uses of trying to get in rapid fire range. If the chimera moves then the MoO cannot fire. I would drop him.
The heavy flamer is a waste of points. it is over costed on a guardsmen, swap it for a normal flamer and save yourself points.
What is that vet squad with melta and demo doing? if it doesnt have any transport to get close then it will be a waste of points. It will most likely get charged and or shot to death before they get in range.

Thank you itt does. and the melta vets are in a vendetta. Automatically Appended Next Post: Got ride of the master of ordnance, krak genades, and the heavy flamer and added the defense line. What do you think??

Im still not liking the special weapon squads, I would try to scrap them and get some vet squads in vendettas, I feel like they would be more effective at getting objectives.

I want to have flamers to be able to capture objectives but dont wont to waste vets bs on flamers. what type of vets would you put in the vendetta

Plasma or melta vets will work fine in a vendetta, although melta is more for tank hunting. Plasma works all around for clearing objectives. But if their some cheap squad on the objectives they may go to ground to get a better cover save.
One of my favorite loadouts for vets in a vendetta are demolitions with x3 flamers. You can get risky and try to drop these guys close or you can go into hover mode and let them disembark safely. Between the demo charge, 3 flamers and rapid firing lasguns this squad puts out a lot of wounds on a target and usually clears and objective for me. The squad nearly wiped out a farsight bomb leaving just farsight by himself.

I like to use penal legion in vendettas as they are stubborn and have a good chance of holding the objective. I say never hover just kick them out the back, most of them will make it. You shouldn't dump them out until the last minute anyway. Vets can for the same price pile in the vendetta but they are still guardsmen so they won't last long behind enemy lines without stubborn. You could add a commissar but tat gets expensive again. I've found that penal legion can make that leadership check when I need them to.
