A Kickstarter-backed project has finally become available to order from Critical Mass Games. They are (I would say) a near-future 15mm range of miniatures:

So, what do you guys think? I personally think they're awesome (of course), especially the VTOL's (and a gorgeous paint job, I must add). For some time I have been looking at the 15mm scene, such as Flames of War, and have been increasingly impressed by what I have seen. I think I have become more drawn towards the sci-fi aspect, possibly because of the limitless possibilities of modelling and painting, as well as the setting. Not only this, but the scale looks really fun and the quality of the miniatures is really coming along. I'm pretty sure that there are some walkers to be released too, but we will have to wait and see (you can find pictures of them here an there on the internets, mainly from lucky people's Kickstarter unboxings ).

Thanks for stopping by guys - have at it Dakka!

Oh good god, finally. I really needed three more of those objective marker dishes -- at least!
