Trying to figure out what to do with the last 9 points. I added some servitors to the Iron Hands attachment but not sure thats they way to go, any ideas?

That's a neat list.

I would drop the Iron Hands Tactical Squad down to 5 men, exchanging the Plasmagun for a Missile Launcher. this is assuming they join the MotF behind the ADL (I don't see another use for them).

Using the points saved (plus the 9 extra) I would beef up the second BA Assault Squad to 10 men, change the Plasma to a Melta, and add a second Melta.

I'm not sure what Seth does for your army, tbh. He seems a little lackluster. You have him described as joining Vanguard Vets but I see none in your list. Was this a typo?

Yea good point, they are meant to stay behind the ADL with the MoTF, so dropping them down and getting that second Assault squad back to 10 would work. I've heard that plasma is the best to use but I can see the use of Melta too. What was your decision based on?
Also, yes..."hangs head"...Seth was my fluff...lol. I couldn't figure out a way to get him into my Flesh Tearers with a DC without loosing something I wanted from the list. So, that being said for that 160 points, and being that I want an HQ with the Vanguards, what would be best for the points spent?

I suggest you take a librarian and use the points saved to finish tooling up the squads. There is no reason to have 8 figs when you can have 10 and a special weapon.

What's said above ^...
Also - drop the hurricane bolters and find 5 pts from somewhere to get a pod for the tactical squad. Yes you aren't going to use it but it will enable your stern and ironclad to come down together. Where is your vanguard you mentioned btw?

Sorry misstype there, its Sternguard not Vanguard. Libby huh, ok, I understand about the odd pod count too. Let me rework the list and repost.

Between the Chalice and Iron Hands Tactics, most of the Army should have FNP. How's it looking?

I like it!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Just two small things - not sure if two spec weapons are legal on tacs. Think it has to be heavy and spec. Also that Ironclad could do with a second hf. You can afford to upgrade the tacs flamer to a ml and get the ironclads hf if you drop the servitors.

Tac squads of less than 10 models may take a single Special OR Heavy weapon, and squads at 10 models may take one Special AND one Heavy. unfortunately you cannot take two Specials.

I recommended a Missile Launcher over the Plasmagun as that squad will towards your board edge with the MotF. The extra 24" range is great for that, and it's the same points.

The new list is a lot better!

Man, seems like they word things in these codexes to cause confusion rather than clarification lol. Ok, I need to replace my Iron Hands weapons load out. Will repost....
All I can change is the Tac Squad---Missile Launcher and Flamer now, so legal. I would like to add a second HF to the Ironclad but I just can't free up 10pts to do it..looks like I will be play testing this versus Orks in a few weeks.
