So where do the members of dakka go to game in Seattle?

I just moved here last week for a job and moved in downtown. I have about 50 pts of untested Khador and Menoth, as well as 2k Vampire counts and Ogre Kingdoms (also mostly untested). I can drive anywhere if there's parking available when I get there.

Also I did look around in the store finder but quite of few of the stores located nearest to me seem to be nonwargamming related, so the advice of a local would be much appreciated.

In Seattle itself, a very solid bet is Card Kingdom in Ballard.

It is a top-notch store with a strong WM/H community, and a small (but I think growing ) WFB and 40k playerbase. That said, it covers many games, so it is very advisable to learn their schedule or arrange games ahead of time, as my luck in just happening on a pick-up game has been mixed.

As far as GW stores, there is no GW in Seattle itself. I'd say the best one in the immediate area is in Kent Station, which is where I will be playing Fantasy and 40k as the playerbase at Card Kingdom grows.

I'd definitely be interested in Fantasy games with you though, though I usually play at the 3k level.

Thanks I'll check them out.

A few more solid paychecks under my belt and I'll have 3k points in a few armies for sure

Not sure what my weekends are going to be like. I just got this job and already the hours seem to be in flux. Maybe, tentatively, possibly, not this coming saturday but the next?

I’ve only played 4 games of fantasy and those were all over a year ago so my rules knowledge is heavily oxidized.
