So, after look at a couple threads in here I started thinking2k blood angels,DC
Astorath- 220
Librarian w/ jump pack - 125 shield of sanguinus,
2 sang priests w/ power fists and jump packs- 200
15 man DC w/ jump packs, 3 power fists, and - 600
Storm Raven- TL LC,MM- 200
10 man assault squad w/ power weapon- 205
Storm Raven w/ TL AC TL MM- 200
Honor guard w/ plasma guns and jumpacks in drop pod -260
a fun semi fluffy army that revolves around the DC. here is what I got.

I believe you can start fliers on the board first turn in hover mode correct? if not then I would have to change a lot. lol.

No flyers have to start in reserve unfortunately.
Btw why are you taking astorath with only 1 unit of dc? And why take 2 sang priests when only 1 unit can benefit from them?

And DC with Jump packs are WAY to many points. Give them a pod and bolters

If you drop astorath and a priest you will have 320pts to play with.

Pod always works better for points. But if you want to run them with jps id advise running 10 with 2 fists. Saving another 200pts.

the DC are in the storm ravens and can assualt the turn they come in on. the only downside is going second and having to survive to turns of firepower lol. I could drop some stuff and maybe get another scout squad.

problem is the storm raven can only carry 6 models with jumppacks if I remember right. Besides that though you can play around with it but I have learned that putting models in the stormraven could completely lose a game for you..if that gets intercepted and crashes you just lost half your army in 1 shot. I run my stormraven strictly as a heavy support. Once in a while I put a dread on it but never troops.

just deep strike the jump packs...not only is there less risk but if you fail the roll for reserves on them you get to reroll it. If they are in the stormraven you don't.
