Not so sure about just having two drop pods. Small thing, but when one shows up turn one, they tend to get themselves and the passengers obliterated. Apart from that, to me it looks like you have a bit too many points in your Vanguard squad. Those storm shields are just begging to catch a hail of FW volleys, they never seem to be worth the points all that expensive wargear adds up to.

After having tried many times to make a go with the RG chapter traits, I'm finding it harder and harder to forge ahead with a list built on pods and jump packs. The LSS scout wave really just isn't my thing. If you had too, I'd say find another pod to put two 5 man tacs with special/combi on the table to get a third, and run your Vanguard naked for the most part, will get more bodies on the table.

If that doesn't work, start shopping around for different chapter traits... The FW for 40k Chapter Traits list has some rather nice ones for Jump Packers.

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

Are you looking for a fluff/casual army or competitive army? It looks more fluffy/casual right now.

Alright thats good because I want it fluff and mostly for casual play but also semi competitive so I wont lose every game ..

You need to start playing with what you have an organically grow your army list as you play.

Start playing with your fluff/casual list. See how your doing. If your losing all your games, start shifting to a more competitive list.

Make the change gradual. That way you can keep learning how to play your army without starting over from scratch. Its easy to learn 1 new unit at a time, and its much harder to learn a new army at once. Simply put -- don't completely change your army at the drop of a hat unless you have years of 40k experience under your belt.

Once you get to a fun 50% win/loss ratio, stop making your list more optimized.

You might never get to a 50% win/loss ratio, depending on your opponents. Skill is a big factor in this game, if your learning don't be disheartened if you lose your first 10-20 games.
