Belial

10 deathwing terminators (going to deepstrike with belial) 2 CML with lightclaws and Sgt with TH+shield

2 land raider Redeemers with 5 man knight squads

finally 2 10 man tactical squad with plasma gun and missile launchers + Flakk upgrades

I guess the strategy is to try hold objectives with the tacts, and try to spear head through the middle

with the land raider redeemers, and have belial deepstrike either turn one or two to help support

the land raider + knights. Ill probably pop belial with one of the knights squads so he at least cant be

insta killed by most high strength weapons.

One quick thing to note is that if you are playing a competitive scene, DW sergeants cannot take TH//SS anymore due to the rubbish wording in the FAQ. It says that a deathwing member may replace their storm bolter and POWER FIST for a TH/SS. The Sgt has a power sword, invalidating that option. I know it makes no sense but some people might point that out. Personally, my friends let me keep them the way they were before the FAQ because I already built them that way. (also the FAQ ruling makes no sense).

Yeah I already built my Sgt with hammers, No one has said anything at my gaming club yet... And I've used them in like 7+ games.(but then again, I've never played much of the " competitive scene")

According to the most recent Dark Angels FAQ, April 2013, the rule is stated as something like "Any terminator may replace their storm bolter and power fist with a Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, or a pair of lightning claws."

So because the sergeant doesn't have a storm bolter AND power fist (stupid) he cannot replaced his weapons, which is totally dumb. I believe that you can give the sgt a CML or Assault Cannon, but that's probably not the best idea because of challenges. Precision shots could be cool though.

I have to put my thoughts here, plasma cannons are amazing on DW. I played DW a lot and, out of all the heavy weapons the PC give me the most bang per point. specially since they are TL on the turn they come in. consider that, they are ap2 and 10 pts less than the CML
