Not a bad list at all. I'm not a huge fan of the large Broadside squad with no tank for force multiplier. But otherwise, I see what the list is trying to do and think it will do pretty well.

I would split them up into two units while swapping the Skyray or Railhead to the allied Detatchment.

Keeping them together is fine, but increases the risk of a couple good shots taking them out, ie opposing IA Riptide with ignores cover. You'll need to be careful with them.

So a 2 and a 1? The only reason I had them as a 3 was so they were strong enough to intercept a flyer before it had a chance to shoot. So if I was to split them how should I split the drones? Should I have 2 drones for the single suit and 1 drone for the double suit so as to spread fire power?

You can just do 2 broadsides 2 drones and 1 broadside 1 drone.

You aren't losing any firepower against an incoming flyer because all 3 broadsides can still target the same thing. What you gain is the ability to have a broadside shoot a different target (maybe a transport with 1 hullpoint left) as to avoid overkill.

I think the army will do fine, pretty standard stuff.

You make a very good point! I shall edit the list accordingly. I still need to find something to spend the last 20pts on though?
