Hey guys
So, me and a mate are looking at running a Great Crusade campaign in our group so we can start HH armies and build them up slowly-ish, i have finished or almost finished the campaign system (it is based off how Templars Crusade 01 does his on youtube) so i dont need any help with that.
My problem is coming up with rules for all of the races that were around during that time as i dont know alot about many of them, so i am asking for help from those of you that do know more about them.
I am not wanting suggestions about how to change the races that already have Codex rules, i can do that myself.
What i would like to get is:
An HQ choice and 1-3 choices for every other FOC slot aswell as being balanced for 40k/30k for the following races: (i will mark races i have done as Green and ones i have not as red, and i will include the rules that get written in spoiler tags, if you think anything can be added please let me know )

I think the Laer should be a more specialized army, as in shooty units are worse than Tau in assault, assault units have literally no guns. I think I remembered reading fluff about them that said that some of them could shoot a target over a mile away with only their eye sight. So perhaps their troops should come in two flavours, possibly a third one if you want flying infantry.

Also perhaps allow entire squads to take a special rule in order to allow them to be more specialized for a price. So the assault guys can take furious charge for +2 points per model, the shooty guys can make precision shots, the flying dudes can get skyfire.

As for elites, FA, and Heavy Support, perhaps even more heavily modified versions of their species, Heavy Support can be huge infantry with huge guns, something like T:6, W:3, with something akin to an autocannon or lascannon (with relentless of course), elite can have assassin squads, small squads of 3-6 guys all with low AP sniper rifles that wound on a 3+ or 2+, to pick off enemy officers or simply butcher elite units, or if you would rather an assaulty unit something like the assaulty troops I mentioned with +1 WS, S, and I armed with power weapons.

IMO Laer should be like a mix between Eldar and Tyranids, specialized like the Eldar (to an even greater extent than them), but having most of their technology be genetically modified individuals instead of vehicles.
