Heya! I'm planning on getting back into the hobby after a year or so and wanted to put my list up for review. I was originally going for something that just sounded fun, but I would like it to be semi-competitive and play well.

So... my thinking is the two heavy units sit behind line of sight blocking terrain using indirect fire to thin out the crowds while the bike squads and flyers zip ahead and harass any threats to them. The vets and ccs take objectives in the background or support the bikes and flyers. The vanilla troops are dropped off on unattended objectives in the opponent's deployment zone (Update - or mushed into a large blob squad to be an imperial speed bump to any big threats). Big daddy chapter master simply clubs any of the small fries to death or tostles with any monsterous creatures.
It seems to be a good list but I'm a little rusty. Thoughts?

You need a platoon command squad with those two infantry squads, you can't take those individually.

The IG stuff all seems fine otherwise. I'm not familiar with White Scars enough to say.

Bike squads don't seem big enough? Aren't they supposed to be 5 models minimum to be counted as troops? (forgive me, codex is at home for points cost, but 93 pts for bikes + grav x2 doesn't seem high enough). I thought that Korsarro was the only character that allowed them to be taken as low number squads, but you have a chapter master here.. Forgive me if I'm wrong..

I dont know your strategy but usually you want to get those plasmas into double tap range which means moving, which wont allow you to use that lascannon.

I was hoping to keep them back with their lascannon while the bikers and flyers distract the tougher targets then move them forward with plasma if they arnt in danger of being immediately wrecked.

Is the bike element "punchy" enough to make an impact? Or do you think you might not have enough bodies?

I played a casual game against my friend with the list and they seemed like they did need more bodies but points are getting a little tight. I might have just been playing dumb though.
