I've been lacking in hobby time recently but that's not to say that i've not been busy. I've just completed building a full sized spaceship bridge setup in my garage, built halloween costumes, carved pumpkins, cooked some delicious meals, decked the roof garden of my newly built (by me) house, fitted a kitchen and bathroom, and made a cactus garden for the lounge!
I just had a thought here as I was working on planting out my roof garden today.
What about a section for people's projects that aren't necessarily wargame related?

These two are on the cusp of acceptable ......

As well as the numerous cosplay threads

Now, in a pool of creative types with crazy attention to detail like dakka, i'm sure that there are plenty of craft/diy/travel/cookery/engineering projects going on.
Gaming rooms/sheds being built, needlework, fishtanks, climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, playing in bands, whatever etc
I remember there was a chap who made some beautiful knives in the OT forum for instance.

So yeah, basically a section near the OT section for, 'Wargamers' Unrelated Blogs/Projects'.
Sound like a good idea?

Also, I'd get a sick pleasure from watching a GD winner struggling to put up a shelf.

Most of the stuff i have seen related to this has just gone in people's existing plog.
