Hello

Just thought I'd post a link to the pictures of our recent tournament, this was the first time we'd run the event.
There were six player for allies and six for axis all in all the event was a great success.

May I ask what points value you played the event at? And, any plans to do another in the future?

pacific i've posted a few of the pictures i thought were best, yes we do plan on doing another one next year probably around October- November, no date set yet but it will be advertised closer to the time on the warlord forum and i will advertise it on here as well. And we had two lists the first game was a 650pts armoured platoon which was 2 axis vs 2 allied player the other 4 games were 1000pts.

The buildings are from. Company called 4ground lovely kits if a little hard to put together, but well worth the effort! The ruined parts are the brilliant idea of one of our club members instead of throwing the mdf sprues out he broke them up in to pieces and glued them to base.
That table was good fun to play on really made you slow down! Yeah the armoured train is awesome isn't it we had more cars for it somewhere just couldn't find them.

Thank you Amosis 4grounds buildings are lovely the levels of the buildings are fully removable so you can place your models in the building which i really like.

I actually work there so I'm down every day other than Tuesday, but I'll be working i go down to play every Thursday night but can do any other night in the week other than Tuesday and can do most weekends.

My list was

Veteran German Heer
1st LT with smg and 2 extra rifle men

3x 10man Heer squad nco with smg and two lmg's

1x 8man Heer squad nco with smg and two lmg's

1x 5man Heer squad nco with smg and two lmg's

1x panzershreck team

Probably not the best list but it was what I had painted, I'm currently painting an SS force so I'll see if that's more successful!

Looks like a fun event!

I couldn't tell for sure, but was the Axis all Germans or were their some Italian/Others on hand too?

Easy E we had one player using Italian paras he went on to get 1st place on the axis side, we had a fallschirmjager list and a luftwaffe list and the other three axis players were using German heer and one panzergrenadier list,
The allies 1st palce player was using a british infantry list based on a Welsh regiment we also had two Russian lists one American infantry list an LRDG list and one other British infantry list.

What size are those tables? Are they standard 6x4?

They are lovely, they do take quite awhile to put together but we split them up between a few of us in our club so it didn't seem as bad. I think they're definitely worth the time and effort to make them.
And yes they're 6x4 tables.
