Okay, I'm going to make a rough list of models I have and I'd like you guys to come up with fun/fluffy/effective combos that add up to the points levels I and everyone at the club usually plays at: 1500 and 1850. Without further ado, here's what I have. I'm not going to bother listing loadouts as I can swap them around with a bit of work, just tell me what I should take

Storm Raven w/ hurricane bolters- 230.
spend 70 pts customizing Sang guard if you wish

I don't believe Sanguinary Priests can take melta bombs.

Also, if I could swap out the weapons on the Flamer Baal, would you still recommend taking it and what would you swap out?

no, baal flamers are amazing. imo you lose to much firepower for the AC,

also sang priests can indeed take melta bombs. just like Sgts.

(though taking Heavy bolters over HF sponsons imo does work out better)

Well, I like the Dakka one more for mainly range and chance for light vehicle hunting.

But if you take both of them, leave out the HF-sponsons.
Death Company will be the first to go then.
