I have a battle against a good friend coming home for the holidays. I will be facing off against his Iron Hands on the desolate mining planet of Pavonis to capture the Fallen Dark Angel Solas, before he can get our secret out to the imperial forces.

(we have written a whole story out that I will probably post both sides of along with a battle report in December)

Can i ask you how do you intend to play this list? because, as my play style, i would change something

For example:

1) i suppose azrael is there to unlock termis and bikers as troops right?
If so, maybe you would prefer Belial (seeing you've got more termis than RW), as IMO Belial can fight better than Azzy, even if that 4++ save to the whole unit is nice.

2) the libby is going to be with someone or sitting in the bastion with the devs?

3) are you going to footslogging the melta tactical or transport it with the eagle?

For sure you can drop the plasma pistol on serg, is not worth the points, could be nice, but simply isn't worth. And also i would drop the LC on the termi serg

Oh and btw, you sir got +1 for having the storm eagle! that thing is awsome!

Oh and also, maybe i did a mess when pulling out numbers (haven't got the codex at hand, also trying remembering all cost isn't easy hehe) but there i count something in the range of 1700-1800 points, are you sure you didn't forgot something?

Hello.

First, kind of a strange list to be honest (for 2000pts). There really isn't much in it and other 2000pt lists will most likely plow right through it. Anyways, Azreal is not really a hard hitting HQ and the 4++ is solid but still not good enough IMO. I'm not sure what HQ you would benefit from the most but Azreal isn't going to give you much. Additionally, you cannot switch out the Serg's Storm Bolter/Sword....unless they recently FAQ'd it. Just some thoughts.

Ah ye, Mr. Raynor is right, WITH the faq you cannot swap serg gear
anyway, checked the codex, and i've found (assuming your squads are at full strength) you get at about 1800-1850 points, even with the storm eagle points, checked also those.
anyway my advice to start adjustings the list is to drop azzy, take Belial with TH/SS and put it into a DW knights unit. And please tell me you're going to DS the termies...i've seen to many people deploying them...remember your paying extra points for those terminators compared to a C:SM army

I forgot a razorback in there, I did this list @wirk and went off memory. Thanks for the comments, will keep them under advisement.

@kimbara: I will be running the Libby in the razorback with the melta marine squad, the larger tac. squad is going to be in the storm eagle.

Yes the terminators are deep striking in to take advantage of twin linked power.

any model may replace storm bolter and Powerfist for LC or TH/SS, now, does the Sgt. have a power fist?

also, I would recommend taking 1-2 plasma cannon terminators. They have worked wonders for me.
