I've got 2 lists I'm working on. One list is 'regular' Dark Angels with 2 dreadnoughts (regular not Venerable) and the other list is 'Deathwing' with 1 dreadnought (also regular).
Are dreadnoughts the same color as Deathwing Terminators? or are they just green like regular Dark Angels? Does it depend who they're running with?

I think it depends on who gets shoved into one of them, I mean if a very heroic srg gets thrown in it would be green, if it was a DW terminator I think it would be bone coloured. Dunno exact fluff though but it makes sense to me

Fluff-wise it depends on whether they were inducted to the inner circle before being interned in a dreadnought. This is from the codex
Some longest serving Dreadnoughts are crewed by Dark
Angels who served with the First Company and they still bear
the bone white armour of the Deathwing. These Venerable
Dreadnoughts have borne witness to the Chapter's secret
hunt and members of the Inner Circle still seek their advice.
It is difficult to rouse the eldest of the machines, and many
legends slumber in the Halls of Silence, powered down
between actions and awoken only in dire need.
Basically the venerables are supposed to be bone colored, while the standard dreadnoughts are green.

I would imagine it depends. Dreadnoughts house the remains of a great hero of the Chapter so they can continue to fight, so it is quite likely that they would be Veterans, which in the Dark Angels is often linked to membership in the Deathwing. However, it is not guaranteed, so regular Green Dreadnoughts seem entirely reasonable to me.

I think I'll just paint the dreadnoughts according who they're running with... so the ones with the regular Dark Angels I'll paint green and the one I got running with Deathwing I will do in Deathwing colors... just for aesthetic purposes.

I wouldn't. I'd strictly go "standard" - green, venerable - DW.
But since its just a fluff question thats debatable, and since it influences the stats and cost as well... A Riflemen basically doesnt benefit from the Venerable upgrade.
But thats just me, and I like my DA with units from every wing present - my future DW lists sports a libby on a bike with a RW command squad, and some "green" there is welcomed too.

That's how i would do it personally. Green dreads look really cool too. Maybe make the Deathwing dread a little more ornate too.

That's what I ended up doing when I made the Deathwing one... well not really more ornate... but at least different. For all three I used the Venerable Dread kits... with the Deathwing Dread I put more bits on it.
