Here are some WIP/PIP pictures of my SU-100/SU-85Ms. These two are just testmodels for now and there are 8 more to come.

Finished my 2 testmodels (except for the guns which I'll finish once I've magnetized them). First time trying to do snow effect on a tank with snow flock from GF9 and I took the pics too early, before the glue had dried.
What I tried was to use as minimalistic battle/usage damage to the white paint to not to make it look too messy. Not sure I succeeded in it, for the next ones even less is more
Hope you guys like them, feedback is alway welcomed.

Ok, now the testmodels are completed. I've magnetized the guns with 2mm x 1mm magnets and those were a perfect fit.
Still needs to learn how to do a proper snow flock with GL9's.

Very cool. Do you paint them white and then add on the green details?

Thanks. Something like that yes.
I've basecoated them with Vallejo Light Grey and then done 2 or 3 layers of Skull White ( GW) with a drybrush. After that washed up the recess with Nuln Oil (again GW) and then one more coat of white to undone any miss placed wash (this I did with a normal brush). The green is Cam Olive Green from Vallejo stipled on with a sponge. I also stipled some white on top of the green to tone it down.

They look very nice!
Only suggestion I could give is maybe add a little bit of mud/slush to the tracks (on the insides, perhaps use some weathering tools?) Unless you intend for the TD to have been stationary for some time, in which case it looks fine

hmm that could do it, although i'll need to think what i can use for mud as i dont have any pigments etc but it could work if i mix the snow flock with some suitable brown color, possibly a light one because of the frozen roads etc
