Hello everyone, I'm looking for some criticism on this list of mine. Normally I've been runnning with Scorpions and Reapers and Warp Spiders and an ADL and blah blah, but I've painted (or am in the process of painting) my army Ulthwe and am trying to utilize more guardians, psykers, and an army without aspect warriors. Please let me know what you think. Only thing I'm wavering on is the War Walker loadout, if it should be twin brightlances or not. I know having 2 Wave serpents can dish out a lot of str6 fire, but it's a big loss if one goes down. I'd rather have the backup capability of the war walkers to mop up whatever comes out of the transports the Wraithknight and Vypers pop. Have at it!

Wraithblades are very, very out of place especially since they can't assault out of the wave serpent. I would switch them out for normal wraithguard.

The vypers aren't very cost effective and their anti-av14 power is better used on the war walkers. I would change the vypers out for a small warp spider squad and change your war walkers to 2 walkers with 2 brightlances each.

I would also drop the 6 rangers as they won't be doing anything effective but sitting on an objective.

The points saved from the vypers and rangers should be used on a bigger seer council. I've always felt that the seer council is an all or nothing deal and half a squad is more of a nuisance than a threat.

I agree with helvost. Wraithblades are for big squads on foot, but 5 man wraithcannon teams with a spiritseer are great in a serpent. Vypers are too fragile and holo fields to expensive to go that route. They work best with starcannon+shuricannon, dual shuricannon, or scatter laser+shuricannon, as super mobile war walkers(not competing for the HS slot, and cheaper)

Rangers are not bad if used right, but agree you need a bigger council. at least 6 to really make it work.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Hmm... yeah I had a feeling as such. I was just trying to avoid using too many for the council and to avoid using aspect warriors.

well if you are going to keep the rangers make sure to drop them down to a 5 man.
I would trade vypers with lances for war walkers with lances, because they are cheaper, and will dish out more damage.
