Adeptus Brew City is proud to announce, once again:

The Battle for Calderis, Meridian, Cyrene and Typhon Primaris is once more upon us. The welcome to GBU VII.

Which will take place on January 25th, 2014 in New Berlin, Wisconsin, starting at 10 AM, not only will you play for the Greater Glory of yourself but also your team in our original tournament style!

THE GOOD
Imperial Guard, Space marines, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space wolves, Sisters of Battle, grey Knights

THE BAD
Chaos Deamons, Chaos Marines, Tyranids, Traitor Imperial Guard (your army must look the part )

THE UGLY
Eldar, Orks, Tau Empire, Necrons, Dark Eldar

*Please Note that all Space Marine variants will be on the Good team*, along with the sisters of battle.

1.) Pick your codex, pick your forces (1850 Points) and get set.

Every codex corresponds to a team (From the Human Perspective) and you will be placed with people who play a codex

No player will play another player from the same team.

• Good players will never play another Good player.
• Bad players will never play another Bad player.
• Ugly players will never play another Ugly player.

So you will fight for not only your personal glory, but the greater glory of your entire team. At the end of the Tournament, an "Overall Team Winner" will be crowned!

Rules updates:
• Armies must be painted to a three color minimum.

Due to player feedback, Forge world models are allowed this year. However you are only allowed 1 forge world unit.

Allies are allowed, however due to the theme of the tournament only allies from your side can be allied and only if the core rulebook allows for them,

2.) Fully one third of all players who attend this event will walk away with a prize in hand.

• Warmaster: Best Overall
• Field Marshal: Best Good Player
• The Despoiler: Best Bad Player
• Truth Seeker: Best Ugly Player
• Sportsman: For not forgetting what the hobby is about!
• Painting Champ: For the best painting.
• I'm Not Dead Yet!: For the player that never quit!

the team that wins the event will walk away with a "The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly Team Winner" plaque, showing their team spirit for the day.

Every award, including the plaque will come with a prize. Prize Support will be covered by the Adeptus Brew City gaming club of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and will consist of Games Workshop swag.

3.) How do I sign up?
Step 1: Send an email to tschmidt50@wi.rr.com with the subject line of "GBU 7". In the email please include your name and The SIDE you are playing so we can keep track of balancing the teams.

Step 2: This year we will be asking you to pre-pay for the event, using PayPal send a $30 payment to tschmidt50@wi.rr.com. Only 60 total spots available. If you don’t use PayPal please make a note of that in your e-mail. Spots are only reserved when payment has been received.

The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly 2014 will take place at:
Hobby Town USA, 3830 S. Moorland Rd. New Berlin, WI 53151 (262) 784-9230

There are a few new things to note for this year, so please be aware:

There is a 3 color standard MINIMUM.
Unpainted armies will not be allowed to play this year. Models that are not painted to the three color standard will be disqualified and removed from the competition. If this creates an illegal unit than the entire unit will be removed. This is in line with, most if not all tournament rulings, including Adepticon.

On a separate note:

Forgeworld Clarifications
In addition, you must have the corresponding book for the Forgeworld unit you are using. These rules must have been published in a book and may not be released "trial" rules such as the current rules for the Tau XV107 suit.

Only Forgeworld models with rules marked for "Warhammer 40,000" may be taken.

New Missions:
We have been working on missions that incorporate past player feedback and have been testing extensively to support a fair, balanced and competitive tournament. If you have any input that you would like to give, PLEASE do not hesitate to email/PM me or Tim. I can be reached at joewirtz06@yahoo.com.

FAQ's
Despite the extensive set of FAQ's and errata's present in the 40k system, we understand there may be some questions that arise that you may want answered prior to the tournament. If you have a specific question that you would like answered, please email joewirtz06@yahoo.com with the question. We will aggregate any and all questions we release and compile them into an FAQ to be available the day of the tournament. You will also receive a response via e-mail with the ruled answer, applicable for our tournament.

Codex Release Clarification
With the Tyranid Codex rumored to be released January 4th, we will issue a ruling as to which codex will be used for the tournament closer to the date and confirmation of these rumors is substantiated. If the codex is indeed released as scheduled on January 4th, then we will most likely use it [Pending Verification] however, if the release date is any later, we will require that players used the released 5th edition codex.

-----------------------------------------

If you have any further questions please email joewirtz06@yahoo.com or tschmidt50@wi.rr.com!

We have created a Facebook Group for the event https://www.facebook.com/groups/217864581707579/. Just remember that your spot is not reserved in the tournament if you join the group, but is when you PayPal Tim.
