So for christmas I've basically been given several lump sums of cash to invest in WH40k. One of my projects was going to be to convert Eldar Rangers into Dark Reapers but after discovering that they are finecast I've started looking for alternative bodies. Does anyone know of any minis on the market that are robed, to scale and not too difficult to convert?

There are these bodies and these legs.

They are meant for elves so they should be somewhat proportionate to eldar models. They are only lightly armoured though so it'll take a bit of work to armour them up. (if that is your plan)

Legs are perfect, but yeah the torso would require a little work to armored up to Heavy Aspect standards. I'll definitely keep these in mind.

Snipers from Mantic's Deadzone game? They look fairly similar to Eldar models, and they're a plastic-resin. Some mold lines to scrape off, but no ruined detail. They have cloaks and they're in the kneeling position. Only one position though, so it might not work too well, but that's the closest I could think of to match "robed Eldar look".

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
