HQ
Lord of Change = 230
Herald of Tzeentch w/ exalted lotus of conjuration = 70
Troops
15 Pink Horrors w/ Iridescent, icon of chaos, blasted standard = 160
15 Pink Horrors w/ Iridescent, icon of chaos, blasted standard = 160
10 Bloodletters w/ Reaper = 105
10 Bloodletters w/ Reaper = 105
Fast Attack
5 Screamers = 150
Heavy
Daemon Prince of Tzeentch w/ flight, armor, psyker level 2 = 280
Daemon Prince of Khorn w/ flight, armor, greater reward = 240
total
1500
So the plan is to stick each HQ in one squad of Pink Horrors, deep strike the Bloodletters and send out the Daemon Princes and screamers to take down their appointed targets. This my first look at the codex and wanted to see if I was looking at a viable army for Daemons. Honestly nobody at my FLGS plays them. Some CSM players have a very small allied detachment, but nobody runs pure daemons.

So a number of reccomendations,
First of I believe Fateweaver is nearly mandatory as a Warlord due to the fickle nature of the warp-storm. However if you want to run a LoC instead go for it. I would reccomend making him ML3 and giving him 2 greaters + a lesser reward (staff), the greaters hopefully give him some survivability otherwise he's bait for every autocannon out there (only having a 5++ is not good). I would then either roll triple divination fishing for precog, or 2 divination and Flickering Fire (Tzeentch Primaris) so he can contribute some shooting. Staff makes him Str8 (very useful).
HoTz are awesome, though I would reccomend 2 and lvl 3, take prescience, FF + another divination buff, even if you get a rubbish power you can still use the warp charge on FF.
I wouldn't bother with Icon or blasted standard, points can be better spent elsewhere, the IH is good though, allow precision shows and gives the horrors a character, I would bump them up to 16 each for the 3 warp charges.
Bloodletters are a bit rubbish, I reccomend daemonettes instead, faster, cheaper and better against TEQ..
You can't actually have a Khorne DP in HS because you don't have a blood thirster as a HQ. DPs are very expensive, but if you're going to get them I believe it's go big or go home. A Tzeentch DP with 2 greaters + lesser (performs similar function to LoC), they're also very useful due to the flexibility of psychic powers, take FF for shooty, biomancy for buffs, and telepathy for debuffs (or invisibility) or a combination of them.

Princes of khorne are the worst unit in the book. Literally does nothing for them. Without the ability to try or iron arm or taking any psychic shooting your princes suck. most players keep them in the air as long as possible so that they dont just get blasted as they land. Khorne princes are completely useless in the air.
Don't take tzeentch heralds without buffing their psychic level to at least 2.
5 Screamer by themselves wont do anything special. Put the herald on a disk run him with them.
The grimoire of true names is the second best thing in the book besides fateweaver. If you want to win you should take it.
If youre completely new to daemons and want a unit overview I wrote this a while ago and it might help you a bit. http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/541310.page

Ah yes, the DP of Khorne in the heavy slot. I missed that part of it as I was making this list at around 2am. I have looked at your advice, and while I thought the idea of combining two Gods together, I was having some trouble working that out with troop choices. Althought perhaps I could just move in Karanak and some flesh hounds instead of the 3rd herald and the screamers.
Either way, I have revised the list and it is now a mono Tzeentch army. What do you think of this?
HQ
Kairos Fateweaver = 300
Herald of Tzeentch, psyker lvl 3, locus of conjuration, greater reward = 140
Herald of Tzeentch, psyker lvl 3, locus of conjuration, greater reward = 140
Herald of Tzeentch, psyker lvl 3, disc of Tzeentch, greater reward = 140
Troops
16 Pink Horrors w/ IH = 149
16 Pink Horrors w/ IH = 149
Fast Attack
6 Screamers of Tzeentch = 150
Heavy Support
Daemon Prince of Tzeentch, flight, armor, psyker lvl 2, exalted reward, greater reward = 330
Total
1498
I still think this list a little troops light for my liking, but with all the psykers and dakka potential here I think I will just be trying blast away the competition as opposed to digging in on objectives. But I would put each herald with conjuration in the horrors squad and then the one with the disc in the screamers squad.

I'd drop the DP, buff the Screamers to 9, disc all heralds and get more horrors. If you want to run some Khorne you can go 2x Heralds on Juggs + 2x15 dogs for each of the heralds. If you want some Heavy Support go with 2 Grinders instead of DP's. Princes only tend to work well in a circus.

What do you think about Karanak instead of the heralds on juggernauts?
But as far as having the one prince out there, I am not expecting him to be a superstar all by himself. In fact, I dont intend for him to survive the battles. He is there to draw fire away and to provide some support when possible. Yeah it is a lot of points to do that, but most people have a pretty strong fear of the DP. I also really like the DP model.
However, I do like the idea of more horrors and a larger screamer squad from a "win the game" standpoint. But the DP just feels more fun. More fun to play and more fun to paint.

if you arent putting all your heralds into the screamer squad with discs then there isnt much point taking them at all. Horror squads are not worth adding a herald to, it doesnt really help them much.

I was putting them in there for the extra strength to Horror's attack and for the extra spells the Herald himself generates.
To me it looks like they make that troop choice even more offensively potent.

If you like the idea of a Demon prince then go for a circus:
Kairos
Greater Daemon
Horror/Plaguebearer troops
3xDP
A solo prince is not really worth it, it's also not that scary he'll be the first target of your enemy.
Karanak is decent but Khorne Heralds with Locust of Wrath on Juggs are way better. Again I recommend taking 2xGrinders if you are going the Fleshhound way.
If you absolutely need to use Screamers and Tzeentch heralds you need to make it a proper council and put them together while keeping a horde of horrors for objectives and some shooting.
For 1500pts I like going with a mono nurgle list DP, 2xHeralds, 40 Plaguebearers, 2x3 Drones, 2xGrinders.
For competitive play you cant go wrong with mentioned above set ups.
