Hi folks

I'm quite taken by the effect that the FW painters did on the legion fellglaive tank with the purple heat stained effect.

any ideas on how to replicate - i'm starting airbrush my thallax and castellax next week and will be christening them with my first airbrush in 15 years.

I have bought some of the purple heat tint stain from adcal, as well as the smoke effect so i'm gathering these are the best products to do the job? - i just need forwarding to the right literature or hear from anyone who has experience on using it.

if a dolphin will jump out of water for fish, just imagine what it would do for chips?

What you really need is Tamiya Clear Blue and Clear Orange
Lay a thin coat of clear Orange over 2/3 of the barrel,Blue on the 1/3 at its tip.
Overlap the orange and blue where they meet.
The further away from the heat source the more orange it gets.

Tamiya makes a weathering powder compact with burnt blue and burnt orange that work really good with smaller stuff ie lascannon barrels
Here is a video of it in action

MIG also makes Burnt Blue
