I wanted to ask her before I put my foot in my mouth.
I recently got access to a laser cutter and I've been making some items that could be used for Warhammer minis. Mostly for basing at this point, but I'd like to expand on the line to other areas.
Is it acceptable to post a link to my site in the Dakka Swap Shop? Or is there another area on the forums where I could advertise?

If you have stock and are selling it (or imminently going to), you might give yourself a brand name and put it in News & Rumors.

Okay. Well, I definitely have some stock, but I'm still a small-time business with just an Etsy shop. Would that still be acceptable?

Swap Shop isnt really the place to spruik your store.
If you have some specific stuff to show off, then by all means put a post up in News and Rumours. Otherwise, a link in your signature is the way to go.
If you want to get a little more full-on with it, you can contact Yakface or Legoburner about getting a banner ad at the top of the page.

Fixture of Dakka

Mr. Grey advertises his own etsy shop through Dakka on the N&R forum. So it would appear that Yakface doesn't have a problem with it.
