So after many trials and errors I think this is the way to go.

I'm assuming that both DC and DC Dread are in the Raven?

That's dangerous business, the Stormraven is better as a gunship,
so try to get the points for Drop Pods.

Other than that this is an excellent BA list.

Unless I'm incorrect on the use of fliers if it comes on turn two and flys up the feild turn 3 it can go into hover drop its units and fire its weapons and then return to flying and killing stuff.

This is correct. On Turn 3 (and your opponent's subsequent shooting phase) it is now a 200 pt, AV12, 3 HP box that has wreaked untold havoc on turn 2 and unleashed Hell in the form of a dreadnought and Death Company on your turn three. This is the opposite of IWND. It. Will. Die. and you have just sunk close to the cost of a Land Raider delivering an assault unit that will then die in the following turn after it finishes with its primary target. The Stormraven is a gunship that was mistakenly given transport capacity. If you want to drop something from it while it is zooming, feel free. It can't assault and it may die from the jump, but the alternative is much worse. The alternative means that your main source of anti-air and anti-tank is now gone and you have wasted its 3+ turns of usefulness and a chunk of change just to deliver a unit that will be subpar at best in today's meta. There is only one reason I can ever think to hover a Raven: if most everything else your opponent has is either tied up or dead and there's a tank that you absolutely must get a melta shot into the rear armor of to win the game. Even this is a gamble and I would still prefer to zoom it and take my chances with the Lascannon/assault cannon. Otherwise, treat it as a rule of thumb: never hover a Raven. It will be dead before you can say the words "It is now a Fast Skimmer"

So a quick change then to get units out of the raven. I didn't see the point of using drop pods considering I don't have many which means one turn one and the other maybe turn two so the first thing to drop would be dead before the second came down. So DC gone to more useful units that can score and more AV.

So that's 11 more scoring units more lascannon shots and some sniper rounds along with good cover

Looks fine to me. Feel free to use DC and Dreads. I just don't recommend using a SR to deliver them unless you're just going to drop them on their heads. You can deliver them lots of other ways though.

Sponsons on your Flier are IMPORTANT. It helps a ridiculous amount if you can mow down troops and vehicles in your wake.

Except for cent devs. The Stormraven is a champ at dropping these guys off within grav cannon range. Unfortunately, the BA don't have those.

I would ditch the DC dread and get a Fragnought in Pod instead... if not enough points ditch a few upgrades.

Thanks you all for Ur commentss thus far. To glorywarrior I dropped the dread all together cause drop pods are kind of pointless when not taken in 3's to drop 2 on turn one. And as far as the sponsons on the SR, I don't really see the point in more infantry killing I already have 2 Vindicators and a LRR that's a hordes worse nightmare.

Alright, if you'd rather not have sponsons that's your choice. I just personally always like them.

You can never have enough Dakka. Also, on a SR, you pay 30 pts for 6 TLd bolters. Assuming that 10 bolters cost 150 points (10 man tactical with no special weapons from C:SM) you get 3/5 that point cost, or 90 pts (15 per bolter) times 33% as Twin linking a BS4 weapon is roughly a 33% increase in hits and effectiveness. So you are getting 4 times your points investment in weapons. And you should always be firing at least one sponson. Even if you shoot two missiles and your nose and turret mounted weapons, you can still PotMS one of your hurricane bolter sponsons into a nearby unit of infantry. Once you're out of missiles and their tanks have been neutralized, feel free to mop up entire units of infantry with nose mounted and turret mounted weapons and both hurricane sponsons. You can even PotMS that multi melta into something else while you mow down grunts.

Can't tell you how many times I tried to make the stormraven work as a delivery system and it just doesn't. You are wasting too much time and the positioning for all that firepower for nothing. A drop pod is always a better option.
