There's an 1850 tournament this saturday at my FLGS and I don't play Eldar or Tau and the only Apoc models I own are a Skullhamma and some Squiggoths. I could borrow a Stompa, but I hear those things aren't so hot on balance.

So I sort of want to make a real spoiler fun list that maybe ain't so great normally (although it might very well be fantastic I guess?) but sure does have the potential to give a hard slap to the face of any Revanant Titan lists who show their ugly mugs this weekend (since those are apparently so vogue with Escalation, or whatever).

For those who aren't aware, rules for the Ork Dreadmob are available for download from FW's website. Tournament rules are in an attachment to this post.

This is just my first go at a list.... Another option includes a DA-based list with ~30 Lascannons and plenty of Divination, or I could borrow my friend's Iyanden and just go full hog on D-weapons/hope I get really lucky with a couple Wraithknight shots. I'm also keen on making a list with Buzzgob's stompa if I feel it could actually work (seems unlikely atm).

Average rolls put the Dakkajets and Burna-Bommas at... 9HP against AV12, which is just what you're looking for against those pesky Revanants. Add in the Scythes and you're somewhere around 13, so with a bit of luck you could kill the thing before it ever gets to fire?-- It will be Night Fight with Imotekh, naturally, so it will be limited to 36" Pulsar shots, which makes it much simpler for me to keep the Comm-Link and its babysitters in a safe corner until they've done their job.

Anyone have any thoughts about a solid spoiler list for this type of tournament? This is the first the store is doing, just trying it out, et cetera. I don't think anyone's too sure what's going to happen. I don't even know if any of the really top titans will show up, so I'm going to bring a couple other lists besides whatever my "spoiler" is, just in case it looks like they'll make more sense.
