*Please bear in mind I don't play MtG, doubt I ever will, so looking at this from a business angle*
so, tl:dr version is that I'm not exactly flush financially, and want to offset my hobbying costs by a supplementary income.
So I was thinking about buying a booster box, and then selling the cards individually on eBay.
A booster box is ~£90, and nets me 504 cards. If I sell everything at 50p each, I still make ~£250, which gives me a profit of ~£140 (less costs of envelopes for shipping etc)
Probably Lands are going to eat away at that profit margin, but I'm thinking I can bundle those up into 10-packs and sell them cheap.
But I wanted some advice from the more experienced MtG players about the viability of buying cards specifically to sell, is it a bad idea? is there too much risk to make it worthwhile, is the marked saturated with others doing the same thing.
Thanks
