What do you think. Can I make this a strong army. Its not so much for competitive tourney play but I play necrons.orks. and B.A.s.

Please don't turn this into a " you need plague marines. Heldrakes. And biker spawn.". There is a theme to the list Iwould like to keep but willing to change some.

My strategy is all troops stay in reserve. Leave 10 cultist with warpsmith. Maybe deep strike plague bearers with guo on enemy objective. Rush up with 2 mauler with do behind using them for cover and using ml's to witchfire until getting into combat with infantry. Maulers engage anything that can potentially shoot the fiend, grinder, and dp. Brutes run up and go where needed. Fiend and grinder shoot face. Grinder walks toward a unit to engage in cc turn 4 or 5. Warp smith try to regain hull points and repair weapons.

I think I see what you're trying to do with the Helbrutes... You know, use them. But they really are not worth the two hundred points. Even to put more AV on the table. I would spend those points on two predators or most of the cost of a land raider or a defiler or a Soul grinder and a half. Or 6 rhinos just saying there are other vehicles you can spend 200 points on and I would suggest pretty much any of them except the Helbrutes.

WAY more cultists, even if you take Typhus then you still need 20 per squad minimum. Having the majority of your troops be T3 with a 6+ in such small squads makes them literally useless,
they don't have the numbers to camp a point or tarpit, and that's what they do.

Apart from that the army seems really fragile, I face a lot of heavy ranged forces in my area and I wouldn't be so keen on having so much AV12, against Necrons and BA you should be okay.
Ork lootas will be an issue though so make them a priority.

The best way to use Helbrutes is to sit them in cover with the Warpsmith and have them take shots with ML or Plasma Cannons or Lascannons or whatever. They will achieve WAY more than if
you try to get them into CC. Otherwise they will either die on the way in, or just get a Powerfist to the face.

Otherwise it's nice to see a Chaos list that is trying to be different from the usual Nurgle spam rubbish.

I can change the helbrutes around but mainly I'm wondering if there where many builds the could withstand that much hard to kill items capable of assaulting by turn 2-3 and shooting heavy shots turn 1.
