Hello everyone, with my Elysian Drop Troops nearing completion I am adding on to my army by building 2000pts. of an "ODST" themed list, basically an elite Regiment found within the Elysian Drop Troops and all the fluff for that can be found here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/576275.page . Taking past experience into account I have tried to construct a list that I feel will be both competitive and fit the fluff of an ODST style army. Tactics:

-Sicarius will be with the Sternguard and based on who I am fighting and what I am facing will dictate what I bring in the first turn, what I love about the Ultramarines Chapter Tactics. I am only hesitant about the x2 Devastator Squads with Flakk missiles due to the number of flyers in my FLGS but other then that I am pretty solid about this list. Taking past experience into account of never seeming to have enough bodies I now have over x78 Marines on the board with around fifty arriving turn 1.

First of all BIG fan of the ODST and Halo fluff so I think this army is going to look cool and fits reasonable well with what I could see out of a super elite unit in the 40k Universe. As you already mentioned the only thing I would be skeptical on taking is the Flakk Missiles on your devastators, those points would be better used going to something else. Other then that it looks like a solid list, are you planning on modeling the Multi-Meltas to look like any Halo weaponry? Think Spartan Laser look-a-likes would be pretty awesome stand ins!
