Hidey-ho. I had an idea.

So, occasionally I see a Kickstarter that's over and I'm all disappointed that I didn't get down on it. Other times I try to wade through the news and rumors forum to try and find the KS's, and always seem to miss some.

Would it be possible to have an active (or upcoming) Kickstarter sticky added to the top of the News and Rumors subforum? Something that links to current (wargaming-related only) Kickstarters as well as to the pages of Kickstarters that have been announced but not yet officially opened for pledges? Much like the GW rumor roundup sticky, there could be a link to the official thread for that Kickstarter (if there is one).

With so many Kickstarters, this seems like it would be a good way to keep people informed.

I'd rather not, but if I had to I would be willing, but only if people would be willing to PM me about Kickstarters so I don't have to hunt them all down individually.

It's a pretty good idea! I certainly keep track of Kickstarters (I've pledged for over 30) and wouldn't mind maintaining such a list.

I would probably put in a note as Jimsolo said for people to PM me if there was one they wanted added to the list which wasn't present.

It would also be a great place to put links to campaigns such as the below, a dice Kickstarter that I backed that just ended, but I didn't feel warranted it's own thread in N&R due to how many we get in there.

Kickstarter and Indigogo are both crowd funding websites.

Someone has an idea for a product (can be anything, doesn't need to be wargaming related) but they might not have the means to produce said product. They start a kickstarter or Indigogo campaign advertising the product. Backers pledge 'x' amount of money towards the campaign and in return get a reward commensurate to the amount of money pledged.
