She also did this skaven and another SM for a local GW contest (they were the first prize).

She thinks of starting an online portrayal shop. So the question is... How much would you pay for this kind of stuff?

Depending on the hours she put into these portraits! Check what the minimum wage is in france, and then you can work out how much you can expect AT LEAST, by the amount of hours, and then you just add on a certain amount as per experience/difficulty/ or how custom it is.

Nice work. Does she do any full body illustrations or non profiles? Not a dig, just noticed that the 3 pics you posted were bust shots.

@Ifurita: for the moment, only busts, indeed, but she could do anything. She painted some World of Warcraft charachters as well.

@Behemoth Sierra: I know, but this was precisely asked by the GW shop. Frenglish looks better than French or English I suppose.

My Wife creates beautiful costumes for re-enactment and larp but as we have argued for the last eight years,,,, you can't price artwork on the amount of time spent, you have to try to find out how much people would pay for it usually by experimentation, try selling a few, if they don't sell your charging to much or it isn't payday yet.... personally if I were to want a hand made piece of wh40K or even GW artwork I'd probably only pay around £50.00 at best. anything more expensive than that would be too rich for my wallet.

if we sold costumes based on minimal wage and price of materials we'd be almost twice market value, it sucks and half the time the people looking at your stuff will be looking at it and wondering why it costs sooo much more than Primark or wallmart clothes that are mass produced in India or Afganistan for minimal wages in sweat shops
