This is an older battle, sorry I did not post it.

The 3 units of Dark Reapers had me sweating for the first turn, which I lost. 48 inch AP3. Also the opponent brought numerous starcannons, which I think are the best weapons around. He brought a Farseer on a jetbike, and Fire Dragons in a Falcon grav tank, and whatever else I have listed.

My Automarines took it really hard this turn. I should have screened the tactical squads with my terminators. Not a bad tactic.

Some assault cannon retribution. Heavy 4 rending. I remember going after the dark reapers but I should have stayed on the Starcannon guardian squads.

Whelp, all my tactical squads were gone at this point, except a Veteran Sergeant. I think he killed a Warlock.

I went after starcannons this turn... took out the pesky Falcon with its Dangerous cargo.

This is when things got bad. I didnt know about the power fist in the Striking Scorpions, and I didnt know about the web of skulls in the Swooping Hawks.

I had two units left: Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion. Erk.

Holy crap! Why are you playing games on tables with no terrain? Where's the fun in that?

Yeah... you guys really need to follow some sort of terrain guideline. The last game with the nids had a good amount of terrain on it.. but this one... this makes me cry.
