So no Big Bird in here as i didn't feel the Grimoire would be as important for this list. Yes, yes warpstorm table and all that jazz, but it's "only" a 16.7% chance that something bad happens (granted, really bad) and the rest is negligible or beneficial. So let the dice rollllllll!!

It's pretty much 3 super killy units of hounds and heralds followed shortly by a daemonette tide, and a Torrent Grinder to hopefully clear some chaff for the dogs. Here goes

HQ
Kh'erald
Juggernaut, Locus of Fury, Lesser
Kh'erald
Juggernaut, Locus of Fury, Lesser
Kh'erald
Juggernaut, Locus of Fury, Exalted

Troops
20x Daemonettes
Alluress, Icon
12x Horrors
11x Horrors

Fast
16x Hounds
16x Hounds
16x Hounds

Heavy
Soul Grinder
DoS, Torrent

Kinda sorta maybe yeah?

You have exactly one modell that can do anything against armour above 11.

The hounds and heralds are actually really good at killing transports. Barring a Land Raider (and this list is fast enough to avoid one if necessary, two could be a problem) everything else I hit in close combat (which is where this list does its work) is going to be on armor ten or eleven, and both the hounds (S5 on the charge) and daemonettes (rending) can take down through weight of dice.

Knights are going to be a problem for sure, but what daemon army are they not a problem for? Daemons have either Be'lakor after stripping a couple hull points or hurtling multiple DPs at a knight to take one down reliably. There's really not that many options right now. As there is precisely one in my meta at the moment, I'm going to ignore them for the time being until I can grab something from CSM to deal with them.

To be honest this is kind of a reactionary list to seeing the Talisman of Arthras Moloch pop up in tau lists in my area. When a tau castle can deny half of your shooting (52% to deny the witch on 6's) or worse (~80% chance if there is a psyker in the unit), why shoot at all? At that point you're just increasing the chances that you plink a wound or two off some suits and grant them FnP. So, I thought, kill them where they can't kill you.
