Wassup ya'll, CSM are apparently not competitive, usually allied in for the Heldrake to necrons.... I've found a list that works in the competitive scene!
Constantly seeing netlist take on netlist. Tournaments are usually won by something a little different.
Having exceptional success with this at the moment against your run of the mill netlists, taudar, FMC daemons etc., deals with those broadsides, 3 annihilation barges... wraiths
Crux of the tactics:
Turn 1 - hide behind D line/terrain. D princes get into position for assault/beam.
Turn 2 - everything turns up, rear armour wrecks transports/tanks. Oblits flamer/assault cannon troops behind D lines.
Enemy turn 2/3 - target priority a major problem.
Turn 3/4 D princes and oblits/terms assault en mass.
D prince, wings, armour, tzeentch, level 1, black mace (50% chance of getting doombolt)
