So, this is my first list after getting back into the game. My idea was to make every unit as flexible as possible so I could deal with whatever came my way.

HQ
Rune Priest - 165pts
Master of Runes
Plasma Pistol
Axe

Troops
10 Grey Hunters - 185pts
Meltagun
Plasma gun
Wolf Standard
Mark of the Wulfen

10 Grey Hunters - 185pts
Meltagun
Plasma gun
Wolf Standard
Mark of the Wulfen

Fast Attack
Land Speeder - 70pts
Multi-melta
Heavy Flamer

Heavy Support
5 Long Fangs - 145pts
2 Misslie Launchers
2 Lascannons

Any help would be appreciated!

Ok, some quick things:

1) Don't mix weapons in a squad. Let different squads with different load outs give you flexibility, not the weapons within each squad.

2) Drop the plasma pistol off the rune priest, they are bad at the best of times and you will also be spending most of your shooting phase using the psychic shooting attacks.

3) Get some drop pods. Without transports those grey hunters will struggle to get anywhere meaningful. I'd cut out all the extra stuff like the standards in 1 750 points list and focus on getting the essentials.

4) Long fangs can have 5 heavy weapons per squad.

I'd go with something more like this:

HQ
Rune priest

Troops
Grey hunters x10 2 x plasma - Drop pod
Grey hunters x10 2 x plasma - Drop pod
Grey hunters x6 1 x melta - Drop pod

Heavy
Long fangs x6 5x missile launcher

3 drop pods let you bring 2 down on turn 1. Plasmas could be changed to meltas if you are against a lot of heavy armour.

The runepriest could either go with the longfangs to give them divination, or could go in a pod and try to JotWW some gunlines.
