5 units of 5 bikes, 3 with 2 meltaguns each and an attached MM attack bike, two with two flamers and no attack bike
2 Storm talon with skyhammer missiles

The bike commander tanks for the centurions, breaking off to support troops when needed

Tigurius helps the Talons come on to the table when its best for them and buffs the Centurions.

I went with bikers over tacticals because I prefer mobile MM's and 24inch movement over squishy rhinos (first blood). Though I do wish I had more bodies in this list.

Why take ultramarine tactics? Iron hands would be a better option and be like tiggy is out testing new psychic mojo for the day.

ok. If i took an Iron Hands commander or White Scars or even Raven guard, on a bike - would this allow the troops i need to take with Tigurius be mounted on bikes or would they need to be straight up tactical marines?

I don't believe you would be able to take that list of it wasn't UM. If you went allies you still new a troop, and you can't take bike troops without a bike hq. That said, the list looks good.

The real question I have is: Are the centurions worth it? I could drop Tigurius and the centurions and net over 500 points for more biker troops and still have enough for a large unit of LotD or Sternguard or Vanguard.

Why change a thing? Keep it the same but just change tactics, I have read through the SM codex and it doesn't say you can only field tiggy in a UM list,

Find and read the rules for focus-firing targets with cover saves.

Long story short, take off the bike.

There's a little icon by his profile that shows the Ultramarines symbol, and that means you're using Ultramarine Chapter Tactics (it's in there, characters are bound to a specific CT I think it's page 76 or something?).

Yeah, I second the problem with the Chapter Master on the Bike being ignored to focus fire on the other troops without a jink save. If you take him off the bike, you can't have bikes as troops then either... gonna be an issue.

Sure you could drop Tiggy, Centurions and the UM Chapter Tactics and make just a bike list... but then that's just a bike list... completely different than what you originally wanted. If you're interested, just look up the cookie-cutter White Scars bike lists out there... pretty straight forward. I would encourage trying to get creative and stay the course... try allying in an HQ on a bike to get some troops and maybe change your UM Chapter Master to an on-foot Storm Shield guy?
