Hey mates. Working on my 104th Harakoni Warhawks regiment, and basically I am needing some help on the paints I need to use for them. They will be primed black, and will have white, green, and gold colors for the details to go with there black fatigues, however its the armor I am trying to figure out. Help would be appreciated.

Guessing either no one knows or it is hard scheme to replicate in terms of the body armor and such........

Plenty of people might be happy to offer their thoughts on a picture, few will be willing to go and google it all up just to see what you're talking about.

I was under the impression that the warhawks had a kind of tan armor. Almost like the cadian fatigues. I'd use a khaki with a sepia wash for that.

Only image of them I can remember was in the old 4th Ed Codex, they had tan carapace with black overalls. Good reference picture below.

Once upon a time, GW did a book called "Imperial Guard Collectors Guide"

It has an image of the figures there - though it is a bit less tan than those IMO (photos might be deceiving though) and more...not tan...maybe more beige...

The 3.5 codex has line art of the regular troops - and it is more along the line of the now extinct Kasrkin figure. Carapace armor as opposed to the flak on those Cadian figures. The painting guide there also states them as having "Chaos Black" for their fatigues and "Kommando Khaki" for their armor.

Kommando Khaki is gone though. VGC Khaki is their version. It is pretty close to the original. You also have a variety of other khakis to choose from that are pretty close too.
