Hey all, I am returning from hibernation since the new release. My last game was in 4th ed so bear with me.
1st list, 2000 pt Astra militarum, "fit as many tanks as I can list"

This list is mostly just for lulz and not intended for serious play. 2 x eradicator units are just cheap bodies to throw at people for target saturation, have around 43 points left so can go for psyker or upgrade eradicators to leman russes/ other variants. Not sure how this plays out but I understand the lack of scoring units are definitely an issue. Plan is to just either use cheap horde tanks to rush enemy and die so it creates
LOS problems for enemy around objective. Essentially it becomes piling tanks and using them as mobile pillboxes

. Remember I have not played since 4th ed so I need to get used to the new rules.

Pask and his lot will do what Pask does best, split fire ( 9
ld is Ok for splitting
IMO ) and wreck whatever he can wreck with his preferred enemy unit. Tank commander unit will have to roll for warlord ( correct me if I am wrong ) and has a 33% chance of getting preferred enemy, in which case do what Pask does. Exterminators were chosen so as to not rely on that skill.
TBH the morale warlord trait would be better here. Eradicators are the run-off-the-mill general infantry clearance team which just moves from point A to B and blow **** up and be blown up in the process. Grenadiers trail behind whenever possible with cheap weapons and decent armour to get from point A to B. Sniper rifles can be shifted around so that a unit can stay back and provide sniper support for the other advancing teams. Essentially wall of 9 AV14 tanks should be able to target saturate the enemy and let my grenadiers march to the objective (
CCS would be good here to make them run

). Eradicators are solely there to die and provide cover whilst clearing enemy generic blob infantry.
Having never played a 6th ed game, I do need advice on whether psykers/enginseers ( though squishy ) are worthwhile in my list or any other unit which would suit it better. The main focus on this list is Tanks ( if it wasn't obvious ) and still having somewhat applicable infantry that doesn't die to low
AP weapons. Would 9 AV14 tanks and 30 men with 4+ armour be enough? Do I need more tanks?
