Hey, I'm converting myself a Militarum Tempestus army out of dreamforge minis, and I'm trying to find some suitable stand-ins for the above weapons. I've been checking out some hasslefree miniatures bits, but wanted to see if anyone could direct me to some other options before I pull the trigger (no pun intended).

Thanks!

Hey, I'm doing the same thing! Personally, I'm just going to model the guys with volley guns with the drum mag attachment and say those are the volley guys. Short, sweet and to the point. The panzerfausts they come with could make for suitable meltaguns too but if you really want alternatives...

Take your favorite pick. I'd personally use the Firestorm carbine.

Check out his fusion cannon and Ion rifle. The Fusion cannon should make for a great meltagun. The Ion Rifle may be a tougher sell.

This guy has some nice Laser rifle stand ins. Pick which one tickles your fancy. His not-Plasma gun is more convincing, IMO, if not as good looking.

The Eisenkern guns would work if you use a greenstuff hose maker to make the cables from the clip to their backpack and putty up the ejection port imo.

The Eisenkern guns are fine as is for hot-shot lasguns, didn't realize there were rifle drum magazines though, I agree, perfect for volley guns. Otherwise, some real sweet suggestions for the other weapon types, thanks!

Think I'm going with these:

When you get those, PLEASE post a few pics, if you don't mind. I've been looking all over for some examples of them actually ON miniatures. I love the way they look, but don't want to get them if they'd be too big on my Guardsmen.
