Best friends birthday is soon and I need to get him something...unfortunately I don't know what to get him just thought I would get some ideas from the forums where to look.
He plays orks in 40k
He plays Warcraft 3 / StarCraft/smite/JRPG games/
He plays a lot of board games
He is a big Warcraft lore fanatic
Wanted to spend under $80 fallback plan is giving him a 40k army of mine he had been eyeing
My ideas:
Dakkajet
Gift card for videogame
Pathfinder adventure card game

What's his current 40K army look like in terms of its composition?
Get him a cool HQ unit for Orks. Or a couple of troop boxes - something he will be able to use!

Dakkajet seems like a good way to go, shows you are actually thinking of him.

How much time do you have? If you have enough time, and you're a decent enough painter, I recommend putting together and painting a squad or vehicle of something he'd want from his army in his army's colors. My friends and I do that for each other. Specialty things go a long ways too. I did the Hello Kitty marines for a friend's wife for her birthday, and she loved it.
Given that he plays Orks. Time permitting, maybe a fairly custom set of nobs done up as Goff Rokkas or a chekkerbord ska rokka pattern?

Yeah the dakkajet sounds like the best option there.

If he's a big ork player, than I would agree with the others in that a Dakkajet sounds like a good idea. It's a interesting model and will be useful to him.

Agree, Dakkajet is very neat, I just got one myself.
Alternately, and possibly more usefully, you might want to get him some transports for all those boys, if he doesn't already have any. Maybe a battlewagon, even.
