I'm not the greatest painter ever firstly , but I'm trying to do impirial guard in a simple 2-3 shade urban cammo, Mainly base dark grey ( gw eshen grey) , black boots and armour, lighter grey patch's and kind of like in a military swat team style of look to the guardsmen.
I'm starting on basic 2 part cadian troopers before I go to the more expensive multi part kits. + a sterngaurd kit did not help budget lol
Any tips on how to best pull this off in general, pics to follow once I'm manage to get my laptop working as having a few issues with it after 3 years of hard uni use.
(Posting this on my tablet so sorry for any spelling mistakes)

Mix of steel legion drab and army painter barbarian flesh to get a more tanned skin tone.
Needs a extra layer and some face cammo maybe if I can find a tiny brush.
Just need to find a skin tone that works for you :-)

Black is a handy base colour for urban camo. I used it for my 3 tone tau camo scheme.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Thanks for the advice Flinty, when I get the next one done I'll see what its like with black as a 3rd colour.
Just was being cautious not to over use black as its a strong colour and I already have black hevey black templers.
