So I put these up for sale, but I didn't get a great response, so I'll post them here to maybe get some feedback as to what I can do to make them better. All help is appreciated as my goal is just to become a better painter. Thanks much.

I would've bought them had shipping to Canada not been so expensive! i still think they are a great, well done looking force.

This is the kind of army that I like to see: each piece has character, together it looks like a hobbyist army.

Criticism would be that your black looks chalky. Why is that? Is it the lighting? The razorback and some infantry look like they have a greyish, powdery residue.

I really like your Gabriel Seth conversion. He definitely looks like he's swinging arcs of gory death.

The black is a matte and it does look a little chalky, but I still prefer it over the glossy black. But it's also bad lighting.

The grayish/powdery residue is called... Dust. Where I live I have to dust the house twice a week.

Finally, thank you. I assume hobbyist armies are a good thing.

The grille on the back hatch of the Rhino isn't done very well, the metal has little depth. Also your whites need to be layered more. Other than that some really solid work, though some of your colours are lacking in aforementioned depth. I'm also not too sure on the white highlights on the tanks, but it's your choice.

Sad day. Luckily for me the hatches are closed most of the time and there are only a few models with white on them. I'll definitely try and work on both of those though, although white is really hard. Thanks for commenting!

The models look good. I think they didn't sell due to their loadout/paint scheme. Flesh Tearers are not the most popular. I think the paint job is great though. I would take it off your hands for $150 in a heart-beat, but I know that is not near what you are looking for. I am sure you could sell it on eBay for probably around $200+...

Good luck, sweet army.

I like the converted captain. Even with the helmet on he looks so done... like "Really? Why do *I* get stuck with the Death Company wackos? Who in the name of the Emperor is this arsehole next to me with the Eviscerator? The Chapter Master is going to hear about this... this is such BS"

Thanks, yeah flesh Tearers and tacticals in rhinos are not the most competitive. That's probably an accurate sentiment.

Well that just makes it worse, lol.

Time to transfer to a new chapter then. I suggest Lamenters.
