Hello Dakka, I need help point costing/rules for my ork gargant. It is going to land somewhere around great gargant to mega gargant. I have it mostly built http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/596100.page , right now it has a belly gun, ccw, and a 4 twin cannons across the chest. I am going to add a eye weapon and some sort of D weapon on the gun arm but I am open to suggestions.

I am planning on being in an apoc game in a week from now so any help would be awesome.

So I am planning on using this based off of 5thEd Warlord Titan. Assuming structure points equal 3 hull points.
Points: 2500
Hull Points: 27
Power Fields: 6
WS 4
BS 2
S 10
Front 13
Side 13
Rear 12
I 1
A 4

Weapons:
Gut Buster (Quake Cannon)
-Barrage Ordnance2 Range360", 10" Blast
-STR9 AP 3

Da Deff Kannons (Apocalypse Missile Launcher Modified)
-Apocalypse Barrage (2D6)
-STR7 AP3

Gaze of Mork

Titan CCW

I still have one arm left to build. I want something fun and random.

Special rules:
Effigy
-All Ork models within 12" are fearless.

Embodiment of Gork
-If this model destroys any unit in close combat the effect of Effigy is extended to line of sight till the beginning of your next turn.

I don't know if I need to increase the point cost over the Warlord or lower it. They have four weapons and I'll have four plus a CCW. Should I allow transport slots? Stompas have room and it would make sense?

So I have an idea for a custom weapon that doesn't do damage but forces a roll on the deep strike mishap table, if the model is tellaported the also have to make dangerous terrain tests.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I was thinking that you place two points on the field 6inches apart then scatter each point 3D6 (scatter always, even on a hit). All units crossed between the two points must roll on the deep strike mishap table.

I like the idea of a weapon that teleports the target, I'm assuming a large blast then all models hit roll on the DS mishap table, kind of like a time-out gun. Might want to give the targets some kind of test to avoid the effect so as to not annoy your opponent too much.

Basing it off a warlord seems like a sensible approach, I notice you've given the gargant less AV which is fine but I'd suggest a few more hull points to make up for the difference, its alot bulkier after all. Perhaps 30-33 HP.

Weapon wise remember that the warlord has twice the BS of the Gargant so don't be scared of giving it as good weapons as the Imperial beast as it will always be less accurate.

Perhaps and extra large stomp attack would work well and it definitely should have some transport capacity.

Keep up the good works he's looking really nice :-)
