Afternoon all,
Just joined up after finding the forum while lurking on Heresy-Online. I'm not so much interested in the gaming aspect rather the painting and reading all the books, lore, fluff and stuff..
I got back into painting last year after a gap of 20+ years and thought I'd push on with trying to improve. Alas a new born baby got in the way and now, since I have no free time and am sleep deprived, I just like reading forums and letting out a long sigh in envy when looking at the skill of other folk in painting..
Anyway...hello..

I hear ya about the newborn. I had a new born, a game store to run and a full time job. The way I got through it was to have 5-10 models on my desk at all times and a goal set that before going to sleep I would do just 1 color. Then once my kid started sleeping through the night I began moving on to 2 colors a night and so forth until eventually he is now 5 and I shall have plenty of time once he starts school.
