played a demo of this game with my son and bought a core set and 4 more ships. we have been playing this non stop and bought another 4 ships ! we love it. so far we have

1 X-Wing
1 HWK
1 E-Wing
2 B-Wing

2 Tie Fighter
1 Tie Advanced
3 Tie Interceptors

he plays rebels i play imperial (just so i can say luuuuke i am your father) and we play 100 - 150 points
i was impressed today when he chose to take a hit on his hwk rather than use his focus with the plan that he wanted to use his turret for the bigger damage he is 7 and to see him formulating attack plans warms my heart. now if he will only join me on the dark side we can rule this galaxy as father and son.

Sniff. They grow up so fast...good parenting, man!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Have an exalt.

That's fantastic.

When my kids get older, I hope they'll play too.

Keep in mind if you bring him in on your side, he will, inevitably, ask you to choose between the galaxy & him. When he does that... you have to chuck your boss down a shaft & vaporize him. Never ends well. lol

Glad to hear he's getting into it. Tell him to take Kyle Katarn, moldy crow, recon specialist and blaster turret & slow crawl his fleet for the first couple turns, then he won't have any hard decisions to make about how to spend that stack of focus tokens even when he's sharing them lol.
