Hey all

Delighted to join the forum and learn so much about 40k (mostly).

I'm returning to the hobby after an absence of 17 years and have decided to pick up Space Wolves, as I always liked those as a kid and couldn't afford to jump ship once i'd invested in Dark Angels.

Any tips for the long term absentee?

For long term, I'd recommend you'd get one HQ and 1 or 2 troop to start with, just so not over whelmed with number to paint, and work slow from them ones to get back into swing of painting and modelling. Its what I did with my Dark Eldar got Archon and 1 Kabalite warrior box

I'm afraid I'm way past the strategic planning part! I've got more models for the SW army than I can possibly paint, but that's how it's supposed to be, right?

I went nuts on eBay and bought models cheaply so I could practice some of the painting/modelling again.

I'll strategically plan my second army...possibly Orks ;-)
